Sara Lee Corporation Names Delphi's Battenberg to Board of Directors.

Sara Lee Corporation announced today that J.T. Battenberg III has been elected a director of the corporation, effective immediately. This appointment brings the number of Sara Lee Corporation directors to 15.

Battenberg, 59, is chairman, chief executive officer and president of Delphi Corporation, a world leader in mobile electronics and transportation components and systems. Battenberg led Delphi through its 1999 spin-off from General Motors.
