It's not the most expensive piece of furniture, and odds are that you won't find it in most furniture stores. But it may be the most popular chair in Wisconsin.
It is a Leopold bench, and it can be found in woodlands, parks, back yards, cabins and cottages across Wisconsin. The bench is named in honor of its maker, the late Aldo Leopold.
Leopold, who was the first chairman of the University of Wisconsin Department of Game Management, died in 1948 while fighting a grass fire on a neighbor's farm between Baraboo and Wisconsin ...
