During recent trips to Wausau and, whoa, Anchorage, I read each city's alternative weekly newspaper. And both papers featured movie reviews by Isthmus critic Kent Williams, whose analysis often is far better than the film itself.
So is the Madison-based Williams appearing in free weeklies nationwide?
"Well," Williams said with a laugh, "somehow through bizarre coincidence you managed to hit two of the three capitals of my media empire."
Other than Isthmus his movie reviews also run in a Charlottesville, Va., weekly.
