CENTAUR WINS LANDSLIDE VICTORY IN NATIONAL INTERGROUP PROXY CONTEST

NEW YORK, Aug. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- The Centaur Partners Group announced today that a preliminary count by the independent inspector of elections of proxies cast by stockholders of National Intergroup, Inc. (NYSE: NII), had given Centaur Partners a landslide victory in its proxy contest to elect three members of National Intergroup's board. Three corporate governance initiatives proposed by Centaur also won by decisive margins, Centaur said.
