Overall food price inflation last month climbed a slight 0.1% for the third consecutive month holding year-to-date food price inflation at 2.7%, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Both food at-home and food away-from-home prices edged up 0.1% last month, with food at-home price inflation for the first four months of the year running at an annual rate of 2.6% and food away-from-home inflation at an annual rate of 2.8%.
