The wreckage of what may be John F. Kennedy's famed PT 109, found last week by undersea explorer Robert Ballard, includes a pair of torpedo tubes lying on the bottom more than 1,200 feet deep, in the area where JFK's boat was struck by a Japanese destroyer.

Local officials in the Solomon Islands said they are confident Ballard had found Kennedy's World War II boat in the Blackett Strait.
