WALES have suffered a double injury blow ahead of next month's South Africa tour.

Bridgend back Dafydd James, a Lions Test player in Australia last summer, and Bath scrum-half Gareth Cooper yesterday both withdrew from the 27-man squad.

James, who has an elbow injury, will be replaced by England-born Neath centre James Storey, while Cardiff's uncapped Ryan Powell takes over from Cooper.
