A NIGHT celebrating St George's birthday and promoting his legendary birthplace of Caludon Castle, Wyken, has raised pounds 1,500.

The money will be shared by the NSPCC Boole House centre in Coventry for abused children and the newly launched St George and Caludon Castle Society.
