TRAFFIC ADVISORY: GEORGE WASHINGTON BRIDGE WEEKEND CONSTRUCTION

NEW YORK, June 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Motorists using the George Washington Bridge this weekend should expect delays starting Friday evening, June 29, when major construction work resumes on the eastbound (to New York) roadway that connects the upper level of the bridge to the Cross Bronx Expressway. Similar lane closings in the past have resulted in delays of an hour or more.
