So long, it's been nice knowing you. You'll be missed, but when you're gone, don't worry, Beatrice will be just fine, community leaders say.

The consumers and leaders of this Gage County town of 12,500 in southeastern Nebraska are staying upbeat after learning they will lose both their Kmart and J.C. Penney by midsummer.
