The Royal Canadian Mounted Police: proud symbol of Canada.

Two things often come to mind when you think of Canada: the maple leaf flag and the proud, redcoated Mounties, or Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP). Both are colorful symbols of Canada. Although the Mounties wear their distinctive red jackets only on ceremonial occasions, they are always on duty, keeping peace in rural areas as well as cities.
