May 4--Next week Miami Beach will consider paying LNR Property Corp. more than $700,000 to move into a headquarters the company helped build and where it has already signed a lease.
The offer would mark the city's first effort to wean itself from a tourism economy by aggressively pursuing white-collar corporations.
