In the fourth quarter of 2001, according to revised estimates, current-dollar gross domestic product (GDP) rose 1.5 percent (annual rate), real GDP (GDP in chained 1996 dollars) rose 1.7 percent, and the implicit price deflator fell 0.1 percent.
