A backlash against antiterrorism legislation passed following the Sept. 11 attacks will grow, leading to a fierce struggle over civil liberty issues, predicts Sandra Braman, Reese Phifer Professor of Telecommunications and Film, University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa.
