ROSS-ON-WYE will this Thursday stage its first pedigree beef event since foot-and-mouth.

The British Charolais Cattle Society's official spring show and sale will boast 140 entries. They include a major reduction from Gloucester based Denis Preece's Stanboro herd and also from the Llanelli based Sauro herd. There will also be drafts from Kevin Thomas' Moelfre herd, Newcastle Emlyn, and the Taberner's Staffordshire based Barleyfields herd.
