A pseudo controversy concerning Indole-3-Carbinol (I3C) and Diindolylmethane (DIM) is being promoted by the Life Extension Foundation in response to an article comparing I3C and DIM in the Aug/Sept. 2001 Townsend Letter. (1) As one of the original investigators of the role of I3C in hormonally-related cancers, I am disturbed by the distortions made by Life Extension in their January 2002 magazine.
