Morgan Stanley $227 million plan to create a data center and 2,000 jobs in White Plains (Harrison) could trigger a wave of moves to Westchester by other Manhattan companies seeking to scatter their backup operations.

A handful of large companies have spent recent weeks touring Westchester's available office sites with contingency planning in mind, four real estate professionals said in interviews last week.
