ALAN KERINS was sensationally booted off the Galway hurling panel yesterday but warned manager Noel Lane: "I won't be bullied or dictated to."
The issue of dual players has finally come a head west of the Shannon and it follows hot on the heels of the Eamonn Cregan saga in Limerick.
But it's very much Cregan in reverse, and on this occasion a player has been made to suffer as Lane gets tough.
In Limerick the county board are very much in favour of dual status and Cregan was forced to accept this before reassuming control of team affairs.
