OUTGOING champions Dungannon ended their AIL title defence with barely a whimper, failing to register a single score at home to Clontarf on Saturday.

Two tries in the final five minutes helped the visitors to an emphatic 28-0 victory which confirmed their place in the top four play-offs but it was a very disappointing day for Dungannon even though they had nothing tangible to fight for.

This was a dismal Dungannon display in what was, considering the ideal Spring conditions, a pretty dire game as the hosts ...
