A DECISION tonight could change forever one of London's most familiar riverside landmarks.

Plans to transform the site of Lots Road Power Station into 500 flats and a 39-storey tower go before Kensington and Chelsea council.

It is the culmination of a bitter battle between developers on the one side and residents and conservationists on the other.

It is also the latest in a list of developments which, as our graphic shows, are transforming the skyline alongside the Thames.
