MIKE Macara claimed a double when 76 players took part in the North Wales Alliance's second meeting of the spring season at Bull Bay.

The Rhos-on-Sea professional won the Pro-Am with Lyndon Alexander from the North Wales club with 39 points and his 32 points also took the individual prize.

Second place in the Pro-Am was shared by Peter Maton of Henllys Hall partnered by Gareth Salisbury from Conwy and Hanllys Hall pair David Gadsby and Alton Murphy, both pairs having 36 points.

Host club pair John Evans and J O Evans won the Am-Am with 37 points, one ahead of Richard ...
