A Nazi whitewash at NASA? Not here, the agency says. But that's what noted astronomer Tom Gehrels of the University of Arizona--a member of the anti-Nazi resistance in Holland--saw in an adulatory profile of rocketry titan Wernher von Braun on a NASA Web site.
Von Braun, who died in 1977, was smitten by dreams of spaceflight as a young engineer in prewar Germany.
