SIMI VALLEY: BRIEFLY : BANK ROBBER STRIKES AGAIN.(NEWS)

SIMI VALLEY - A man suspected of robbing nine banks over the past month struck in Simi Valley on Wednesday morning.

The robber presented a note announcing the heist to a teller at Coast Federal Bank, 1301 E. Los Angeles Ave., at 11:45 a.m. After taking an undisclosed amount of cash, the robber fled into the Mountain Gate Plaza shopping complex. Witnesses did not report seeing a weapon or getaway vehicle.

The bandit was described by witnesses as a white male in his 20s or early 30s, wearing a blue baseball cap, sunglasses and a black T-shirt printed with the letter V.
