For BC High , the sixth time was a charm.

After losing to Catholic Memorial in the teams' five previous meetings in the Super Eight championship game, including the previous three finals, goals from Steve Smolinsky and Jordan Virtue and a 24-save performance from goaltender Travis Luongo gave BC High its long-awaited Super Eight championship win over CM, 2-0, last night at the FleetCenter.

BC High (18-4-2) finished the season on a 13-game winning streak. The Super Eight title is the Eagles' second overall and first since 1996.
