After more then a month of waiting and hoping, Sean Douglass finally signed a professional contract with the Baltimore Orioles on Wednesday.

For Douglass, the operative word is relieved. The hard-throwing right-hander from Antelope Valley High School signed for a bonus in the six-figure range. He'll report to Baltimore's minor-league training facility in Sarasota, Fla., on Saturday.
