PALM SUNDAY EVENTS WILL CELEBRATE CHRISTIAN HOLY WEEK.(NEWS)

Palm Sunday, the celebration of Christ's triumphal entry into Jerusalem, will be observed by Christians throughout the San Fernando Valley with choir presentations, special services, and plays about the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

On the Christian calendar, Palm Sunday is the Sunday before Easter and marks the beginning of Holy Week.

Many churches also will have special evening services to observe Holy Thursday, commonly known as Maundy Thursday, which marks the night of the Last Supper.
