Facing criticism that Los Angeles County would subsidize the center to the tune of $12 million a year, county supervisors gave final approval Tuesday to the downtown Walt Disney Concert Hall.

``We the taxpayers are going to pay an additional $12 million a year for 25 years for this,'' said Supervisor Gloria Molina. ``The net county cost will be close to $550 million during the 65-year life of this contract.''

The Board of Supervisors voted 5-0 to approve final legal documents related to the construction of the $18 million Cal Arts ...
