Twenty-five Angora rabbits, three dogs, two sheep and a goat are at the Lancaster animal shelter after animal control officials confiscated them from their owners on grounds they were being neglected.
Animals control officials went to a Lake Los Angeles home Jan. 13. in response to a complaint and found five rabbit corpses and the other animals.
``They were very undernourished,'' said Sgt. Leslie Troncale of the Los Angeles County Department of Animal Control and Care. ``They had no food and water.''
