The Chilean state owned oil company Enap wants to increase oil derivative exports in 2002, to balance the drop on internal fuel demand of 0,5% registered in 2001, while production of refineries went up 3,1%. Fuel exports in 2001 were 64% higher to 16mil m3, worth US$198mil. Enap also increase the overall (domestic, and abroad through Sipetrol) crude oil production to 35,575 barrels per day or 15% of the market needs, ...
