SEATTLE, April 16 /PRNewswire/ -- A new study published in this week's "Annals of Internal Medicine" shows long-term use of an anti-cancer drug, methotrexate, proves more effective in controlling severe asthma with fewer side effects than cortisone, the current method of treatment, Virginia Mason Medical Center said today.
