TACOMA -- The Ballard Beavers play an exciting brand of racehorse basketball, but it was the Mark Morris Monarchs who looked like thoroughbreds last night in the Tacoma Dome.
Executing its game plan to near-perfection, the team from Longview accelerated past Ballard, 63-58, and into today's quarterfinals of the boys state 3A basketball tournament.
