TRIBUTES to Spike Milligan began to flow in today as news of his death spread among his millions of fans in Britain and abroad.

The Prince of Wales, once described by the comic as a 'little grovelling b******' after Charles had paid glowing tribute to him at an awards ceremony, was 'deeply saddened to hear the news'.
