NEW YORK (FNS) -- If Fruit of the Loom, Inc.,is sold, the odds-on favorite buyer is VF Corp., according to industry analysts, and there are reports that William F. Farley, who controls Fruit of the Loom, has been seen at VF headquarters in Wyomissing, Pa.
Farley has been unavailable for comment for some time and could not be reached Thursday. As reported (page 6, Dec. 28), Farley has been under pressure to raise cash ...
