The European Commission has approved Euro 24 million of LEADER+ funding for Rhineland-Palatinate in Germany. The money will be spent on improving economic and living conditions for approximately 1.8 million people; focusing on enhancing the qualifications of the rural population, women and young people in particular, improving competitiveness and preserving natural and cultural resources in the region.
