NASA's AGATE Program has released a key database for qualification of resin transfer molded (RTM) composites reinforced with biaxial braids.

The report titled, "B-Basis Design Allowables for 2x2 Biaxially Braided RTM Composite Material Systems (Report No. AGATE-WP3.3-033048-117)" provides complete B-basis allowables for PR520 RTM epoxy resin (Cytec's) reinforced with AS4 6K GP fiber (Hexcel's). Braided constructions manufactured by A&P Technology in Cincinnati, Ohio included +/-30, +/-45, and +/-60 biaxial sleevings for reinforcing composite structures.
