AFTER SEPTEMBER 11 I WANTED TO do something. I felt absolutely helpless. Our president assured us that we would not have to give up our way of life. He told us that the best way to help was to go on with business as usual, to bolster the economy by shopping.
Although I was glad to oblige our country's call to shop, I wanted to do more for the future of our nation's security.
