DETROIT, March 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Michael D. Patterson, a Detroit attorney and businessman, today announced his candidacy for the United States 13th Congressional District seat.

Patterson is the senior partner in the Patterson, Phifer and Phillips, P.C. law firm and managing partner of Annis Historic Properties, the company responsibile for the restoration of the L.B. King Building, formerly the Annis Furs Building in Detroit.
