A MAN bit a policeman on the neck during a scuffle after taunting the PC that his wife was "a good shag", a court heard yesterday.

PC Alex Webley, of Gwent Police, was trying to stop a fight between two girls when Andrew Ridings allegedly confronted him.

Caroline Rees, prosecuting, told Cardiff Crown Court Ridings, 27, of Tredegar, south Wales, told a friend he had "shagged" the PC's wife, adding: "She's a good shag."
