The new line of Crosshead Style Yellow Jacket Silicone Extruders has been designed by Wayne Machine & Die Co. for the precision processing of silicone into extruded wire insulation, cable coating, medical-grade tubing, industrial tubing, rods, and many other products.
Screws are available in various designs, including constant-depth variable-pitch and different pitch compression ratios, depending upon the material and the processing needs of the particular application. Standard screw sizes are 5/8, 3/4, and 1 inch, and 1 1/4, 1 1/2, 1 3/4, 2, and 2 1/2 inches.
