An updated edition of David Flanagan's 'JavaScript: The Definitive Guide' has been released.

The first edition of the book was published in 1996 and the new fourth edition covers JavaScript 1.5 (ECMAScript Version 3) as well as the W3C DOM standard (Level 1 and Level 2) and the legacy Level 0 DOM for backward compatibility.
