I'm grateful that, as an airport traffic controller, I enjoy the work I do.
I'm grateful that when I arrive I don't have an in-tray full of planes waiting and when I've finished I'm not able to take the planes home. I can leave work behind.
Being a shift worker, no day of the week is like another. Each shift leaves me with at least part of the day genuinely free, allowing me to dedicate as much time as I can to work on things to do with my faith.
