WATER-MIST fire protection systems from Finland have been ordered for 28 three-car metro trains built by CAF/Ansaldo-Breda for Madrid. A total of 75 trains will be equipped by 2003. Similar systems already protect facilities and technical equipment rooms in more than 50 stations on the metro. London Underground is another user.
