Queens Place, a major new shopping center in Elmhurst, at the site of the former Sterns Department Store, celebrated its grand opening Nov. 2. More than a half dozen leading retailers, including the largest Target store in the U.S., welcomed shoppers to the 455,000-SF development.
Queens borough elected officials and community leaders joined Bruce C. Ratner, president and chief executive officer of Forest City Ratner Companies, the developer of Queens Place, for the ribbon-cutting ceremony and the grand opening.
