Bull riding has been called the most thrilling eight seconds in sports. But spectators at the Canadian Finals Rodeo in Edmonton in mid-November experienced a far different emotion seconds after Greg Whitlow came flying out of the chute atop a 1,300-pound mountain of raging muscle called Lights Out.
