The United States will take on India in Davis Cup qualifying matches Sept. 21-23 at Joel Coliseum in Winston-Salem, the U.S. Tennis Association announced this week.

This will be the fourth time the Davis Cup has been staged in North Carolina. The last time, the United States defeated the Bahamas in a 1993 qualifying-round tie in Charlotte. Charlotte's Julian J. Clark Stadium was the site of the 1971 Davis Cup World Group final between the United States and Romania.
