The National Ethics Committee met in October to review the complaints filed against ACA-accredited camps in the past year. Complaints lodged against camps are confidential in nature and are released only to the camp mentioned in the complaint.
However, it can be said that the largest number of complaints involved issues related to camper health and safety and the immediate notification of parents when there was a question related to either health of the child or his/her adjustment to the camp experience.
