Kinetin is one of the newer Kingredients on the cosmeceutical shelf. Kinetin-containing products are purported to produce the same effects as retinoids--a reduction in fine wrinkling, hyperpigmentation, and roughness--but without the erythema, peeling, and burning associated with retinoid use.
