MOSCOW-MCDONALD'S OVERWHELMED WITH 25,000 JOB APPLICATIONS

MOSCOW, Dec. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Moscow residents are eager to share a familiar rite of passage with their Western peers -- working at McDonald's.

More than 25,000 Muscovites have applied to fill the 630 crew positions offered by the first McDonald's restaurant opening in Moscow on Jan. 31, 1990, and hundreds of applications are still coming every day. The response results from just one ad placed in a Moscow newspaper.
