Visit Austria during Mozart Week.(Going Places)

Q: I'm a classical musician, and I'm going to Austria this winter. I know there is a Mozart festival in Salzburg, but I'm not sure of the dates. If I'm in Salzburg I'd like to see the highlights of Mozart's life. What would you suggest?

A: Every year Salzburg honors its favorite son with a special week centering around his birthday. Dates for the upcoming festival are Jan. 25 through Feb. 3, and the 2002 motto of Mozart Week is "Prima la voce" - the voice first and foremost.
