New York's Neue Galerie, devoted to works of German and Austrian art, is set to open on Nov. 9 [see "Front Page," Feb. '01]. The museum is located in a renovated Beaux-Arts building at 1048 Fifth Avenue, on Manhattan's Upper East Side, not far from the Metropolitan Museum.
